"Meimei" was a beautiful Siamese who brought comfort and joy to my friend, Lee Caligiuri of Lake Worth, Florida, during her short life. Meimei passed last September. Lee asked me to paint this watercolor in remembrance of her kitty.
The painting arrived this past weekend, and when I looked at it, I remembered the moment I took that photo of her, and I got all teary. You did a wonderful job of capturing a beloved creature who kept me going in a dark and lonely time. Thank you so very much, Cary! From Lee
