Because I never know when people are going to leave, I took a photo with my iPhone. Later, I drew this from the image on my monitor with a Micron permanent fine line marker. Then, I added watercolor.

OK. So we let them on the bed. Actually, we don't sleep as well when Gridley isn't snoring away between us.

Gridley & Lady "Cats"

We do have a cat. Chloe's been with us since Christopher brought her home for college about ten years ago. She's ultra-low maintenance, doesn't eat much, and speaks a foreign language. I do have her blocked from my studio as she likes to sit on my arm as I try to draw or type. She and the dogs seem to have an understanding re: turf. However, Lady likes to lick her and that doesn't go over well.

Ollie is a certified therapy dog and reading buddy at Greeley School, across the street from my house. He's a 9 year old rescue dog from Orphans of the Storm.
